When it comes to destination places in Fort Collins, Midtown doesn’t jump to the top of the list.
But business owners along College Avenue — from Drake Road to Boardwalk Drive — want to be more than the highway you drive to get from north to south Fort Collins. They want to be in the conversation when you’re deciding where to eat or shop.
The Midtown Business Improvement District, established in 2017, is just now coming into its own with an executive director, a new website and social media campaign, a little money in the bank and big plans to make Midtown a destination that’s as distinct but different than Old Town.
